10 wedding day reminders for our brides at Kinsey Events Warehouse!

We have had a lot of couples and these tips are coming straight from our brides for future brides at our Pittsburgh Wedding Venue!

#1 Wear heels for the ceremony and bring the sneakers for the dancing! The concrete floors are part of all of the hard surfaces at the warehouse and be a killer on the feet! Pack a pair of sneakers for dancing the night away with all of your favorite people surrounding you!

#2 Hydrate early, Sip later

Start the day off right when you wake up! Drink lots of water early on in the day so when the champagne starts flowing it's easy to forget to aqua!

#3 Stick to the timeline

At Kinsey Events Warehouse, we require our clients to hire a professional day-of-coordinator. This is not one of your bridesmaids or your friend that wasn't invited to the wedding! Your DOC will make everything run smoothly and flawlessly. If something going wrong you will never know it!

Our couple chose our high bay, ceremony space so we could hang her colorful pennants.

#4 Have a weather plan

Even though our venue is fully indoors, we have a beautiful patio and great photo opportunities. If you plan on taking photos outside paying attention to the weather is a good idea or if you are planning the perfect sunset smooch, check the weather!

One of the unique aspects of our warehouse is our small, reclaimed, salvaged window greenhouse
Our greenhouse at our Pennsylvania Wedding Venue is the perfect spot for some quiet, intimate photos.

#5 Bring the steamer!

Enough said with this one! A steamer makes quick work of those last minute wrinkles.

#6 Go for the sunset photos

We don't get many amazing sunsets in Pittsburgh, so take advantage of the sunset pics when your photographer drags you away from the party for a quick photo sesh!

#7 Don't forget your touch up kit.

A little extra deodorant, lipstick, and blotting papers never go to waste at your wedding!

#8 EAT!!!

Eat breakfast! Eat lunch! Eat dinner! You don't want to get hangry or buzzed after one glass of your signature cocktail!

#9 Designate someone for cookie table setup and cleanup

It's the age-old question, who is setting up the Pittsburgh Cookie Table? We know it's famous, but it's always forgotten about when planning. Unfortunately, the fairy godmothers do not wave their magic wands and it appears complete and beautiful! Will it be the caterer? Will it be the mom's? Will it be Aunt Sally and cousin Judy?

The Pittsburgh Cookie Table is famous! Every wedding we have every had has had a Pittsburgh Cookie Table!

#10 Hold your newly wedded spouse and take it all in before the night ends

Do the sneak peak of the reception space when all of the candles are lit. Sneak a sweet moment right before you come down for your grand entrance. Do the spicy, sexy, romantic pictures in the greenhouse. It's only one day! Enjoy it to the fullest!

The old Ford F250 is the perfect addition, that our clients love, for a special sweet moment away from everyone else!
Our red, 1978 Ford F250 is the perfect backdrop for special, sweet moments with the person you will spend the rest of your life with.

Hope you have a great week!

Love ya!

XOXO

Whitney
